The rapper managed to pull off
the unfathomable for their wedding day in Florence over Memorial Day
Weekend. While walking down the aisle, Kim Kardashian had to look twice
when she realized that her favorite singer, Andrea Bocelli, was
performing live for their ceremony.
The reality star, 33, opened up
to E! News about her reaction. "I thought I was walking to the aisle to
his CD playing," she explained, "but when I got to the altar, I did a
double take and screamed! I couldn't believe he was there himself! My
favorite singer is Andrea Bocelli and Kanye surprised me."
The tenor sang some of his
biggest hits including "Con the PartirĂ²" and, of course, "Ave Maria."
Bocelli's voice is also special to Kim because it reminds her of her
late father. "My dad [Robert Kardashian, who died of cancer in 2003]
loved him too," she shared. "It felt like I was walking down the aisle
with my dad as [Andrea] sang."
Kim wasn't the only one blown
away on her big day — so were all of those in attendance. Her little
sister Kendall Jenner gushed about the wedding to The Insider With Yahoo
at a book signing, "It was beautiful, there was a lot of love in the
air and just to see two people so happy was amazing," she said.
Even though Kim has already said
the wedding won't be televised, we know everyone was secretly keeping
their fingers crossed. Sorry, it's not going to happen. "No, you might
see a little bit of before, like the actual wedding, just like
preparations, but not the wedding itself," Jenner revealed.
